The model, who accused Oscar De La Hoya for assaulting her, says the boxer “should apologise” and that he took advantage of her in every way possible. In a news conference outside a Manhattan courthouse, Angelica Marie Cecora went on the offensive against De La Hoya prior to a hearing on the case. “I believe he should apologise,” the New York Post quoted Cecora as saying. Cecora, 25, claimed the boxer assaulted her during what she described as a kinky, drug-fueled hotel romp last March at The Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South. Cecora is suing the boxer for assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. “He came across as a very genuine person when I met him ... but things got out of control,” she stated.
