Anita Hassanandani who was last seen on TV with the Vikram Bhatt show Anhoniyon Ka Andhera is craving to return to acting. Since a year, the actress had been out of the limelight but promises that she will soon be seen in a new fiction show. “I’m in talks with the people and am contemplating taking on a show but I haven’t signed on the dotted line. I have a few films lined up in the south, so I have to decide. But I can assure you that I will be seen on the small screen after three months in a fiction show,” declares Anita.
Anita has been busy with ad shoots but laments: “An ad shoot gets over in two days. I’m missing acting and so I decided to do a TV show this year. I have done everything — from anchoring to fiction to reality shows so this time it has to be something new and exciting.”

Ejaz makes a comeback
It is a remake of the hit Tamil daily Meeti Oli and it was supposed to go on air in July last year. But it got delayed because of copyright issues and now it is getting ready for a February-end launch on Sony. Titled Shubh Vivaah, it is a story of a father and four daughters. The story starts with the marriage of the second daughter, played by newcomer Neha, who doesn’t get the best husband as compared to her sisters. The show is set in UP and is targeted at small-town viewers for 8 pm viewing. “The set-up is very interesting and the story is quite dramatic as each sister has her own struggle,” says an informed source. Ex-Balaji favourite Ejaz Khan who debuted on TV with Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka returns to serials with this show after two years.
