This weekend saw the annual BYOC gaming festival again, bigger than ever. Organised by Xtreme Gaming, the event was held in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. The extravaganza had 60 straight hours of gaming, with players participating from all parts of the country. Participants were encouraged to bring their own computers and consoles, though rentals were available with various configurations. Gamers played many organised tournaments, with games like Counter Strike, Need for Speed, FIFA, DOTA, etc. There was also plenty of time left open for gamers to get together and play their favourite games.
BYOC is an incredible opportunity for gamers from around the country to get together and play together. In lieu of national conferences and expos, it falls to events like these to unite the gaming circuit, in an incredible way.
