New York, Oct. 11: For Americans facing a tight job market, sporting a moustache might well help them get a high-paying job and that too with a better salary than their clean-shaven competitors, a new survey says.
The study, conducted by financial services provider Quicken & American Moustache Institute, found out that Americans sporting a moustache may have better chances of landing at a higher-paying job.
The report said, moustached Americans earned 8.2 per cent more on average than those with beards and 4.3 per cent more than the clean shaven.
Interestingly, moustached people also tend to spend 11 per cent more and save three per cent less than their collective counterparts.
The survey titled “Saving And Spending Patterns of Moustached Americans” was conducted by the firm of Menjou-Bartchen Research Consultants among 2,000 bearded and 2,000 clean-shaven American.
