Hyderabad: The Congress high command has issued a showcause notice to Vijayawada MP, Mr Lagadapati Rajagopal, and Nizamabad MP, Mr Madhu Yashki Goud, for their verbal attack on the Union Home minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, following his statements on December 9 and December 23.

Earlier, the Congress high command had served a showcause notice to the IT minister, Mr Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, for criticising the Chief Minister, Mr K. Rosaiah, and bringing disrepute to the party.

The AICC general secretary, Mr Janardhan Dwivedi, issued the notice and gave the minister a week’s time to reply.

Two MPs, one from Telangana region and one from elsewhere in AP, were also to be issued similar notices for violating party discipline and approaching the media, it was learnt late Friday night.

Mr Venkat Reddy had sharply criticised Mr Rosaiah before the media on Thursday and had accused him of acting like the Chief Minister of Andhra region.

Mr Venkat reddy has also angered the high command by refusing to withdraw his resignation unlike other ministers.

He also said that the Chief Minister’s comment on industries moving away from the state because of protests showed his bias against Telangana.

Other ministers too had objected to his remarks against the Chief Minister.

Mr Rosaiah had sent a report on the ‘intolerable’ behaviour of the minister to the high command and demanded that he be thrown out of the cabinet. However, the high command decided to serve a show cause notice for now.

Mr Venkat Reddy refused to comment on the show cause notice. “I dont know anything about it,” he told this correspondent.

Finally someone from Telangana has got the guts to speak the truth and oppose the biased Rosiah publicly. What is wrong in calling a spade a spade? Why should the CM make adverse comments about industries moving out? In every agitation, these temporary setbacks do happen. did industries move out of the state when communal riots have taken place or when other disturbances or leaders (vangaveeti ranga rao, paritala ravi, etc) got killed? The CM is trying to dilute the stir for a separate state, then if the minister calls his bluff, why should he be thrown out of the ministry, then why not lagadapati, gade venkat reddy, jc diwakar reddy and a host of others who have gone against the diktats of the central govt? law or justice should be same for all. throw the andhra ministers too out of the cabinet. they wont go as theirs was a blackmail trick.

None of the congress leaders in telanagna region have sense of repsect and humility leave alone their basic capabilties. They use foul and vulgar language and hardly speak anything of substance. If these ministers are sacked and some intellectuals bought in their place, telanagana would already be better off than they are today. It is a pity that we are ruled by substandard reps which the people have elected in name of congress. I am sure there must be several intelelctuals and well honored individuals who want to get elected and congress should correct itself atleast now by getting to be elected. This way the overall fiasco of separate telangana which is not way feasible would get solved automatically.

I have been following most of our leaders discussing current situation in AP. There are positions that are taken in favor or against the beliefs that they carry. It is no issue if they carry an opinion for themselves but they should realise what damage they are doing as public representatives and leading icons:
- Our younger generation are getting affected in this process. They will lose basic norms of decency of respecting elders, paying attention to details of any issue and are getting carried away by emotions.
- That is what we are seeing in media now a days, all children between age groups of 15 to 20 years are made to speak to media and we can see the destruction psyche that has already been put in place by these so called leaders.
- I am not any more surprised to see this happening because, we have leaders like K Venkat Reddy who have lost all the sense of decorum of the office they represent and are reaching such abysmal depths to instigate the emotions. Comments about credibility of Rosiah is just a tip of iceberg.
- They are winners since 50 years because of this strategy that they followed but my sincere request to all students is to first analyse the leaders mindset and study their intents before doing anything.
- four weeks back, you made KCR get extra lease of life. If not for you, by this time he would have been in oblivion. A person who wants to show backwardness of the region and has no control on the tongue is not a leader at all.
- Lessons learned, dont do that mistake again of backing leaders like K. Venkat Reddy. They should be shown the door and taught a lesson.

How good a leader is Rajagopal? Gade Venkatreddy says Congress never promised to give Telangana state! Rayapati says Congress will lose in both the regions if Telangana is given. Andhra people should learn that, just by blaming KCR or his tongue, you cannot deny the wish of the people of Telengana, ie. their right to self-rule.

Self-rule is a big word and it should be viewed from all the perspectives.
- Regions maturity in terms of leadership.
- People's perception about current breed of politicians.
- Injustices if any that have happened till date, what is the blame that we need to take and what blame should be transferred to others?
- What resources that united, we can negotiate with the centre? What resources we lose out if we negotiate as separate entities?
As a common man, we should be clear about what is that we are gaining and what is that we are losing? Do we have that perspective right now? I dont think so. Except for emotions evoked by leaders saying education, jobs, water and industries will be happening in our favour overnight. Is this a possibility from the same leaders who have taken us for a ride till date?
It is like old wine in a new bottle.

On another note, if Rajagopal and Gade Venkat Reddy have made statements about Telangana, these should be discussed between themselves in a forum. I am surprised how a leader like K Kesava Rao called a press conference to counter the arguments made by Gade Venkat Reddy. K Kesava Rao struggled to corroborate his point of view by referring to various documents. Instead of a press meet, I would have been more than happy for K Kesava Rao as a senior leader to call for a forum or meet with Gade Venkat Reddy to discuss and sort this matter. Instead, they have made us more confused. We will believe, what we like to believe. They are playing on our emotions but not giving clarity that we deserve. What is the gain to a common man if we continue this chaos further?

KCR as a leader has lost all the credentials. By the way he is appealing to students to make a success of OU gharjana tomorrow shows that his life-line now is students. He will do what ever he can for having these emotions active. If not for them, his own survival will become a challenge. Let us become wiser and see the act behind the veils. If he is a true leader, then he should not be in midst of playing dirty tricks with the future of the students.

Trust me, we will realise this little later and as a saying goes. Chetulu kaalina tarvatha, aakulu pattukuni labam emi vundi.

What about Anam Vivek Reddy. He said he will give sticks to Andhra students to thrash the police. He stopped the water flow to Chennai. He should be kept in jail.
