PR is a poison tree: Parakala

April 9: Mr Parakala Prabhakar, a founder-member of the Praja Rajyam, resigned from the party after calling it a “poisonous tree” that was polluting the political atmosphere, and making a bitter attack on the leadership on Thursday.
The PR is being run as a commercial firm and not as a political party, he alleged. He ann-ounced his resignation at the party headquarters, using the media centre for the purpose. Mr Prabhakar said he was quitting as he had failed to correct the leadership. Mr Prabhakar had aspired for the Narsapu-ram Lok Sabha ticket but was turned down.
Asked whether the allegations over sale of tickets in the PR was true, Mr Prabhakar said, “These allegations appear believable as far as the leadership’s style of functioning is concerned.”
“Earlier I thought that the leadership was making mistakes as it lacks political experience. Later, I came to know that they were following the wrong path intentionally,” he said.
He said the party had “hoodwinked” those to whom it had promised nominations. The Prabhakar press conference was not without its drama.
The party’s top leader, Mr Allu Aravind, had tried to meet Mr Prabhakar at latter’s residence but could not do so. The Yuva Rajyam president Pavan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi’s brother, cancelled his press conference
to rebut Mr Prabhakar’s allegations.
He is reportedly angry over Mr Aravind’s handling of the issues raised by Mr Prabhakar.
The party summoned its women’s wing president, Ms Sobha Rani, to counter Mr Prabhakar’s charges. She said she was unhappy at the way things were going on in the party but was maintaining restraint.
Mr Aravind said Mr Prabhakar quit the party because he was not given the Narasapuram ticket. He said Mr Prabhakar’s allegations were baseless and far from reality. Mr Prabhakar had joined the party only with an eye on the ticket. The Praja Rajyam leadership did not nominate him as surveys showed that he did not have clout among the people, Mr Aravind said.
Denying that tickets were “sold,” Mr Aravind said candidates were selected only after conducting surveys about their standing. “How can I malign the image of Chiranjeevi, whom I adore very much,” he said. “I am ready to give my life for Chiranjeevi. If a bullet is shot at Chiranjeevi, I will be the first person to stand in front of him to take it.”

Well MGVT1, Income Tax department bestowed "Sammaan" award to Dr.Chiranjeevi for paying his taxes on time and accurately. There is no politician who got this award, except the one and only one Megastar Padmabhushan Dr.Chiranjeevi.
People like Parakala, Anjaneyulu Reddy, Dr.Samaram, Dr.Mitra thought PRP would be different from mainstream political parties, dream come true for youth therefore worked hard to build the party without any expectations. But their observations and working closely with party leadership found this party doesn't have a vision or strategy and perhaps its worst than the current political parties therefore got sickened in very short time therefore they are coming out of this party and revealing the bluff. Just before the elections Allu seam to have hijacked the party, taking all decisions in seat allocation even disregarding family members like Pawan, Nagababu etc., out of decision making. We can't be hypocritical by saying if other parties take donations we call it corruption and when it comes to PRP this is not so.
As per the information available so far looks like TRS and PRP are competing for 'CASH FOR SEATS'. As per Parakala, he thought all this happening Chiru's unawares but he found this is not true, Chiru is hand-in-glove with Allu in all these deals. He is leaving the dirty work to Allu while himself pretending to be clean but behind his clean mask there is a devil behind it. There is no point in criticizing Prabhakar as all that he was trying say is revealing the truth.
Allu says Parakala was considered for MLA/MP seat because he may not win, what experience he himself has? He never won a election either, how can he have prejudice against Parakala.
Allu, Chiru and company perhaps thought they can mint money in this business than making movies but voters are smart they know their sinister designs therefore they are going to show their right place.In spite of all roadshows and hype, Chiru is going to see great disappointment after the elections. After the elections he will have more enemies than friends.
Idiots like Parakala are poisonous.. Because they are biting when the party going for elections.. They are trying to defame Chiru. One simple thing everyone can understand.. if they really sold the tickets how can they give 104 tickets to BCs? as simple as that. Every party asks for the funds.. Do you think CBN or YS runs their parties with their own money.
In all due respect i adore Chiru and iam his all time fan.But his choice of getting into politics is so worthless..He is not idea of wat he has to do as a CM and his little brother ..wat the hell is he..how can he be a politician ..i wonder he knows the basic info of the consitution codes and he is hoping to be a politician. politician is a people's man and this is a profession on its own..not the fan base. I wish CBN and YSR a very good luck they are true politicians...we need people's man not a celebrity and definitely not the little Pavan he is a no brainer man !
Stupid Allu Aravind is going to bring down Chiranjeevi. he made his money and he got a hero from his own family now he is going to dump chiru family keep watching. Hahaha Poor Chiru
People of AP pls wakeup. Voting in India or anywhere in the world is a process of picking a known devil rather than an unknown devil. When TDP was in power atleast somethings were better if not everything.This congress govenment has made corruption its mandate. Zero adminstration,zero concern for security. Twice bomb blasts have occured in Hyderabad. So far not even a mention of what happenend.Just like our weak leaders looking for help from Uncle Sam, AP gov is waiting to hear may be from Bangladesh intelligence.God pls help and save India
