Nellore: Rs 100 crore assured for Muslim welfare

After coming into power in the state, Jana Sena will implement the recommendations of the Sachar Committee.

Nellore: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has assured to grant Rs 100 crore towards the construction of modern colonies for the sake of Muslim communities in Rayalaseema, after his party comes to power in the 2019 elections.

Addressing a public me-eting at Madanapalle, the Jana Sena chief felt that when compared to the Muslim communities living in Godavari districts, those living in Rayalaseema region are most backward in terms of education and lacks financial stability.

“After coming into power in the state, Jana Sena will implement the recommendations of the Sachar Committee. The party has given priority in seat allocation to the Muslim community and thus it has nominated a candidate from this community at Rajampet Parliamentary constituency The party always stands on its word and will definitely strive to improve the standards of living of the Muslim community”, he claimed.

Assuring Madanapalle of development in all fro-nts, the Jana Sena chief said Madanapalle will be transformed into an IT hub on par with electronic city Bengaluru.

He also assured drinki-ng and irrigation water facility to Madanapalle and Ramasamudram ma-ndals. “We will strive to bring a trademark to Mad-anapalle silk on par with Dharmavaram and Kan-cheepuram silk. Weavers will be given loans at low-er interest and for the sa-ke of employees’, CPS will be lifted off. We will develop adventure and mountaineering sports at Horsl-ey Hills in order to impr-ove the tourism sector wh-ich will facilitate more th-an 10,000 jobs to the unemployed youth, he said.
