BJP, Etala can't do anything for Huzurabad: Harish Rao

Rao alleged that when TRS started Aasara pension, Kalyana Lakshmi, Etala felt that these schemes will not fill people's stomach

KARIMNAGAR: When Bharatiya Janata Party is not going to form the government in Telangana and its candidate Etala Rajendar cannot become a minister, what is the point in voting for BJP, asked finance minister T. Harish Rao on Tuesday.

He was campaigning in support of TRS party candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav in Singapur village of Huzurabad constituency.

Harish Rao alleged that when TRS started Aasara pension, Kalyana Lakshmi and KCR kits, Rajendar had taken the stand that these schemes will not fill people’s stomach. He subsequently called Rythu Bandhu for farmers a waste. “Rajendar may be rich and may not need such schemes. But the pension given by state government to aged and single women is their only source of living,” the finance minister pointed out.

He wondered how the BJP candidate can seek votes from Huzurabad people when he has not done anything for the constituency. “People should not believe in BJP. What is the use of a party, which is increasing prices of daily commodities and fuels by the day and putting a burden on people,” he asked.

Harish Rao said as TRS government under leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is ruling the state efficiently, people of Singapur and Huzurabad must bless TRS candidate Srinivas Yadav by voting for him in the byelections.
