KCR betrayed unemployed youths: Central minister

Union minister of state for home Nithyananda Roy asked for a one-lakh majority for Rajendar to teach a fitting lesson to the TRS

Karimnagar: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has betrayed the unemployed youths who had sacrificed their lives for statehood, did not fulfill the poll promise about giving them unemployment dole, alleged Union minister of state for home Nithyananda Roy.

He was speaking at the ‘Golla-Kuruma Atmayee Sammelan’ held as part of the Etala Rajender bypoll campaign at Jammikunta of Huzurabad constituency on Monday.

Roy said the Yadava community worshipped Lord Krishna, who always stood for dharma,. “In the same manner, the people of Huzurabad must stand by Rajendar and defeat the TRS that is adopting anti-people policies,” he said.

He asked for a one-lakh majority for Rajendar to teach a fitting lesson to the TRS.

Speaking at the event, Rajendar said the people of Golla-Kuruma community would not tolerate anyone who tries to disturb them for no reason. “KCR tried to disturb me without any reason and is going to learn a bitter lesson very soon,” the former minister said.

He said that due to the bypoll caused by his resignation, people of the Golla-Kuruma got sheep and Dalits got the Dalit Bandu scheme. TRS leaders have distributed Rs 70 crore worth of liquor in the constituency till now, and spent Rs 300. “But the TRS will not win the election,” the BJP nominee said.

Former MPs Jithendar Reddy and Vishveshwar Reddy and BJP state general secretary Premandar Reddy donated '10,000 to Rajendar for the campaign.

BJP leaders Vivek Venkatswamy, Babu Mohan, Tula Uma, Bikshapathi, Yendala Lakshminarayana, Ravi Yadav, Thirupathi Yadav, Kommy Ashok, Suresh Yadav, P Srinivas Yadav, Naresh, Tula Amar and Ramesh were present.
