KCR not getting sleep to Etala's master stroke: Bandi

Sanjay claimed that the CM had threatened farmers by stating that the government would not purchase food grains

Karimnagar: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been left sleepless by the master stroke of Etala Rajendar, said BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar during a Huzurabad bypoll campaign meeting on Sunday.

“If KCR is committed for the welfare of the Dalit people, he must hand over the president post to a Dalit leader,” Sanjay said. speaking at a well-attended road show at Rachapalli village of Ellanthakunta mandal of Huzurabad constituency in Karimnagar district.

He claimed that the CM had threatened farmers by stating that the government would not purchase food grains. “KCR does not have any role in purchasing food grains. BJP will take the responsibility of purchasing all the food grains produced by farmers,” he said.

He said Rao has been president of the TRS for 20 years, and his family members hold important posts. “Working president is K.T. Rama Rao, standing president is Kavitha, sitting president is Harish Rao and sleeping president is Santosh,” he said.

“Around 1,400 youth sacrificed their lives for achieving Telangana state. Now unemployed educated youth are ending their lives for not getting jobs. What sacrifices have KTR, Kavitha, Harish Rao and Santosh made for Telangana,” he asked. He dismissed Monday’s TRS plenary as “scenery” (optics) to take attention away from Huzurabad.

Predicting the victory of party candidate Etala Rajendar, Sanjay said that on November 2, when the counting of Huzurabad votes is taken up, the BJP would show a “triple R movie” to the CM in the Assembly in the form of three BJP legislators — Rajendar, Ragunandan Rao and Raja Singh.

“It is learnt that KCR sent Rs 20,000 per vote. TRS leaders are keeping Rs 15,000 in their pocket and giving Rs 5,000 to the people. The TRS leaders are distributing fake currency. People should be aware of this,” he said.
