Kutami in N Chandrababu Naidu hands, says KTR

Mr Rama Rao said that his government was establishing the biggest Pharma city in the world at Ibrahimpatnam.

Hyderabad: Caretaker IT minister K.T. Rama Rao, on Tuesday said if the Mahakutami came to power in the upcoming Assembly elections, the person calling the shots would be AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and all Telangana projects would come to a halt.

Addressing a public meeting at Ibrahimpa-tnam in Rangareddy district on Tuesday, Mr Rama Rao said that Telangana state was formed on the basis that its water, funds and jobs would be taken care of, however, if the Maha-kutami came to power, the state would face water problems again, and injustice would be done to farmers.

Mr Rama Rao was critical that the Mahakutami so far did not announce its chief minister candidate, and said, “in Mahakutami all leaders are chief minister candidates.” He said there would be a CM every month and for every post, they would have to go to Delhi. He asked the people whether they wanted “sealed cover CM or chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao who was like a lion”.

He said by the time there was distribution of seats among Maha-kutami allies, “we can distribute sweets”, in a reference to infighting. He alleged that the Congress had no leader and the Telugu Desam had no cadre, and these two parties ruled the state for 67 years and created problems for the people by not giving water.

Mr Rama Rao said that his government was establishing the biggest Pharma city in the world at Ibrahimpatnam and this would create employment for the youth.

He said that a regional ring road of 330 kilometres would be developed. He assured that the TRS government would waive off Rs 1 lakh loans of every farmer and Rs 10,000 would be given per acre per year under the investment subsidy scheme.
