Hyderabad: Congress MLA A. Revanth Reddy has moved a PIL before the Hyderabad High Court challenging the action of the Telangana state government in allotting 10 acres of land to the My Home Constructions, My Home Industries and PR Energy Ltd at Panmaktha of Raidurg in the city.
He told the court that the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation originally proposed to sell the subject land by developing the plots to create hospitality and recreation facilities in the area, but later it has invited bids considering the entire land as a single package with an intention to allot it to the respondent companies.
He submitted that the respondent companies stood as highest bidders, but they had failed to deposit of the amounts in time. He said that despite of the failure of payment as per the schedule, the government has handed over the land to the companies. He urged the court to grant stay on the companies from creating any third party interests.
