Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy complains to Rahul Gandhi

Mr Gandhi directed them to work with coordination and saying that there is good response for the Congress

Hyderabad: Congress senior leader and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has complained to All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi about the insult he faced from party leaders when the latter asked him why he was not seen at the Charminar programme.

Mr Sudhakar Reddy and Karnataka Congress leader S.S. Prakash have been conducting Rajiv Jyothi Sadbhavana Yatra from Sriperambadur to Delhi for the last 27 years. But he had no place at Rajiv Sadbhavana Yatra conducted on Saturday at Charminar. While returning to Delhi from the Begumpet airport Mr Gandhi asked Mr Sudhakar Reddy about his absence at Charminar.

Replying to Mr Gandhi, Mr Sudhakar Reddy complained that the party seniors had insulted him by not inviting him to the programme. Taking the complaint seriously, Mr Gandhi asked TS affairs incharge R.C. Khuntia about this.

Later, Mr Khuntia, TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, party leaders Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Vijayashanti and others met Mr Gandhi and discussed about election planning.

Mr Gandhi directed them to work with coordination and saying that there is good response for the Congress. Senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao lost his cool with party leaders saying he was not allowed in Mr Gandhi’s convoy.
