Yogi Adityanath gives priority to law and order in UP

Lucknow: Acting on the strict orders given by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, director general of police Javeed Ahmad on Monday stressed on maintaining law and order and communal harmony in the state.

At a meeting held evening through video conferencing with civil administration and police officials, the DGP and principal secretary (home) Debashish Panda asked cops to “ensure strict action to maintain law and order”.

The officials were also asked to crack down on criminals, organised crime and mafias, and ensure safety of women in the state.
