Chandrababu Naidu hints at YSRC MLA Bhooma Nagi Reddy entry into TD

The leaders extended their support for any decision that the CM took.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has hinted at the prospect of YSRC MLAs joining TD. The meeting between Kurnool district TD leaders and CM N Naidu held here on Saturday, seems to be giving credence to the news doing the rou-nds in political circles that YSRC MLA Bhooma Nagi Reddy could be joining the TD any minute.

TD supremo Chandra-babu Naidu discussed political developments in Kurnool district with de-puty chief minister K.E. Krishna Murthy and TD leaders Silpa Mohan Reddy when he directed them not to oppose anybody joining TD, especially YSRC MLA Bhooma Nagi Reddy. He said that TD would take a decision only in the interest of strengthening the party.

He also reassured those present that the government was not reducing the importance of the other leaders. The party would decide after discussing the issue with the TD rank and file at the grassroot level only, with the final decision being taken after discussion with others too. The leaders extended their support for any decision that the CM took.

Mr Krishna Murthy said that he had no objection and that TD would respect the leaders who joined as per their seniority. Besides, district TD chief Silpa Mohan Reddy said that Bhooma Nagir-eddy joining TD was an issue that had been discussed and they had been directed not to oppose it in the interests of party.
