Congress celebrates Karnataka outcome

Mr Nanaji said that BJP conspiracy had not worked out in Karnat-aka due to the strategies of the Congress.

Kakinada: The Congress workers held large scale celebrations after the recent Karnataka developments. After the resignation of BJP leader Mr. B.S.Yedurappa from the Chief Minister's post, the Congress party workers and leaders led by District Congress Committee President Mr. Pantham Venkateswara Rao blasted crackers and cut cakes and distributed them.

Mr Nanaji said that BJP conspiracy had not worked out in Karnat-aka due to the strategies of the Congress. He said that the MLAs of Cong-ress and JDS had protected democracy by refusing to be sold to the BJP.

Congress activists staged a demonstration at Sarpavaram junction in protest against the Karnataka developments even as Mr Yadurappa was getting ready to prove his majority today. The agitators raised slogans against the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and the BJP National President Amit Shah.
