TRS leaders justify Kavitha\'s chappal comments against Arvind

HYDERABAD: Finding fault with the Nizamabad MP D. Arvind for making baseless remarks against TRS MLC K. Kavitha, minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy and several TRS leaders on Saturday alleged that Arvind had deliberately made such remarks in an attempt to create law and order issues in the state.

Prashanth Reddy said that he extended his support to Kavitha for telling that slippers should be hurled at the MP. Why had he remarked that Kavitha had a talk with Congress president Mallikarjuna Kharge? Was he a witness?” he asked.
"The BJP is trying to divide and rule states. It created rifts in the families of Sharad Pawar, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Hemanth Soren, Ram Vilas Paswan, Krishna Patel and others in order to dethrone governments. When BJP miscreants attacked Kavitha's residence, why had the governor, Union minister G. Kishan Reddy and BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar failed to respond?, he wondered.
MLA Ganesh Bigala said that Arvind had failed to bring funds from the Centre to Nizamabad and the people were venting ire for his failure to establish a turmeric board in Nizamabad.

MLC V. Gangadhar Goud said that the BJP leaders were trying to create law and order issues in Telangana by implementing the West Bengal formula.
Bonthu Rammohan and Danam Nagender visited the Kavitha's residence and expressed their solidarity with her.
