Congress slams K Chandrasekhar Rao for dismantling old camp office

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said Mr Rao the CM had no right to demolish the existing Secretariat complex in the name of bad vastu.

Hyderabad: Two senior Congress legislators on Tuesday criticised the decision of CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao to construct the camp office and the new Secretariat complex by dismantling old structures and termed it as a waste of public money and an “act of Tughlaq”.

Former minister and Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said Mr Rao the CM had no right to demolish the existing Secretariat complex in the name of bad vastu. Going for new constructions would only result in unnecessary spending of public money.

Former minister and Jagityal MLA T. Jeevan Reddy asked whether it was necessary to construct a massive camp office on 10 acres by investing '100 crore.
