Jagan needs to learn from Naidu, say YSRC leaders

He even suggested comparing TD's Mahanadu and YSRC's plenary.

Vijayawada: Leader-centric YSR Kutumbam and missed call concept seem to be encouraging for the YSRC.

However, lack of vision to build cadre-based structures still appears to be a minus for the YSRC and election strategist Prashanth Kishor is working on it, as per YSRC sources.

Senior YSRC leaders, while expressing satisfaction over this exercise, have been advising their leader to concentrate on building the party from booth-level committees.

“Now voters have come out of sympathy mood. The leader has to concentrate on thinking and working practically. He should look at the TD as to how it is functioning,” a senior YSRC leader and former minister said. He even suggested comparing TD’s Mahanadu and YSRC’s plenary.

Another senior leader of YSRC recalled that during the turmoil that the TD underwent in Telangana struggle, TD chief N. Chandrababu never looked back and had protected the cadres in Telangana.

“Several key leaders, left Mr Naidu left him, but he stabilised the TD with his calm temper,” he said.
