Kumaraswamy to formally kickstart his yatra from Mulbagil in Kolar

The yatra is aimed at reaching out to the masses with the party’s policies and programmes, in view of the upcoming Assembly elections

BENGALURU: The rescheduled “Pancharatna Rathayatra” of Janata Dal Secular leader and former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy is scheduled to start on Friday from Mulbagil in Kolar district.

The yatra is expected to start at 2 pm in Tirupati Cross in Mulbagil. Earlier, the Rathyatra of Kumaraswamy was flagged off on November 1 and owing to rainfall, the yatra was forced to reschedule.

The yatra is aimed at reaching out to the masses of the State with the party’s policies and programmes and Kumaraswamy has set a target of winning 123 Assembly seats in the forthcoming Assembly elections in the State and to assume power without support of other parties.

As part of his yatra, Kumaraswamy would make night at Urrokunte village and he would sleep either at Higher Primary School or in a Temple premises. During his visit, Kumaraswamy would be meeting villagers and have first hand information on the problems faced by them.

The yatra of Kumaraswamy will enter Bengaluru covering the Assembly seats of Bangarapet, Malur, Kolar, Srinivaspura all in Kolar district and pass through the Chintamani, Sidhlaghatta, Gowribidanoor and Chikkaballapura seats.
