YSRC lodges complaint against Naidu, Patrudu

YSRC leaders alleged that Ayyanna abused the Chief Minister while Naidu provoked TD goons to carry out an attack on MLA Jogi Ramesh

VIJAYAWADA: YSR Congress legislators lodged a complaint against Telugu Desam chief Chandrababu Naidu, another TD leader Ayyanna Patrudu and some TD leaders, saying they provoked their party supporters to carry out an attack on YSRC MLA Jogi Ramesh.

YSRC MLAs Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, Jogi Ramesh, Md Mustafa, Meruga Nagarjuna and Maddali Giridhar with MLC Lella Appireddy and MP Nandigam Suresh submitted a complaint to administration superintendent of police Ammi Reddy at the DGP office.

The leaders alleged that Ayyanna abused the Chief Minister while Naidu provoked TD goons to carry out an attack on MLA Jogi Ramesh when they were staging a peaceful protest on the road.

Appireddy said Chandrababu Naidu prompted Ayyanna to abuse the CM and others in the YSRC. The TD was trying to create conflicts in the name of caste and religion. TD leaders attacked the YSRC MLA and the cadre without any provocation,” he said.

MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy said that Ayyanna stooped too low while making derogatory comments against the CM. MLA Ramesh was attacked by the TD mob in front of Naidu’s house. Naidu had instigated Patrudu to speak so vulgarly and the people are observing the anarchy in the TD anarchy, he said, and demanded action against Naidu and Ayyanna.

MLA Merugu Nagarjuna alleged that the leader of the opposition was behind all the incidents that happened and demanded that Naidu be arrested.

MP Suresh said the TD leaders were not helping in the development of the state. Naidu was creating unrest among the people with false propaganda and he instigated Ayyanna to use foul language against Jagan Mohan Reddy, Suresh said.
