Ramadoss demands sacking of Union minister Sadananda Gowda

He said the minister is trying to incite passions to resume the riots again and demanded his dismissal from the Central government.

Chennai: Slamming Union minister Sadananda Gowda for his remarks blaming Tamils for the riots against in Karnataka, PMK founder S. Ramadoss on Wednesday said the minister is trying to incite passions to resume the riots again and demanded his dismissal from the Central government.

In a statement here, the PMK leader said the minister’s statement is irresponsible as it comes after PM Narendra Modi had appealed for calm. Sadananda Gowda had held the post of Union Law minister and he should have know to handle an issue in a responsible manner, the PMK leader noted.

He must not speak like a Kannadiga chauvinist and his statement would further damage the relationship between the two states and incite violence again.

Countering the allegations of Sadananda, the PMK leader said the TN government had given strong protection to the Kannadiga establishments and people.
