Congress govt is anti-Hindu: RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat

Mr Bhat was speaking to mediapersons who met him during a programme near Belagavi on Monday.

Belagavi: RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat has described the Congress government in the state as “totally anti-Hindu” while stating that there was nothing wrong in religion making it presence felt in politics but politics should not dominate in religious matters.

Mr Bhat was speaking to mediapersons who met him during a programme near Belagavi on Monday.

Terming the decision of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to stop supply of mid-day meals to students of Sri Ram Vidyamandir at Kalladka near Mangaluru unfair, Mr Bhat demanded that the state government must stop interfering in religious matters and put an end to atrocities on Hindus which were taking place under the pretext of promoting secularism.

Mr Bhat urged the state government to ensure that national festivals were celebrated in churches, dargahs and madrasas.

The RSS veteran said that instead of pointing the finger directly at the Hindus in the murder cases of journalist Gauri Lankesh and rationalist M.M. Kalburgi, the state government should launch a fair investigation to find the facts.
