KCR, Naidu are anti-poor, anti-farmer: Digvijay Singh

Digvijay Singh also criticised the TRS government in Telangana for likely misuse of funds for irrigation projects.

Hyderabad: AICC general secretary-in-charge of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Digvijay Singh, feels the Sonia-Rahul-Priyanka team would be a formidable combination for rejuvenation of the Congress in the country. Singh, here on Friday, attacked the Narendra Modi government for its alleged failure to keep up its electoral promises.

Digvijay Singh also criticised the TRS government in Telangana for likely misuse of funds for irrigation projects.

Accusing TS CM Chandrasekhar Rao and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu of promoting corporate interests in both the states with a selfish motive, he said, “Both have dumped ex-CM Rajasekhar Reddy’s welfare schemes and are following pro-corporate, pro-rich policies in their respective states. For both the CMs, the focus is on self-aggrandisement. They are anti-poor and anti-farmer.”
