Vijayawada: Telugu Desam general secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh on Wednesday dared the YSR Congress leaders to prove the charges they had levelled against the TD leaders or face a defamation case.
Participating in the 'Idemi Kharma Mana Rashtraniki' programme at Nidamarru in Mangalagiri assembly segment, Lokesh said it has become a habit for YSRC leaders, particularly the “Accused one and Accused two,” to level baseless charges and run away from the state.
''The TD leaders did not commit even a single mistake in five years the party was in power,'' he said, adding that whether the YSRC leaders can prove even a single charge levelled against any TD leader.
Lokesh visited the villages and interacted with the people. The locals submitted memoranda to Lokesh complaining that their houses were demolished by the authorities without any reason. ''If pollution is the reason, why the industries are not being chased out of the state, why is the Bharathi Cements still allowed to be operate,'' he asked.
