Jagtial: Local leaders of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) seem to have forgotten that the former minister Etala Rajendar is no more their beloved leader, but an arch rival ever since he was ousted from the state Cabinet and joined the BJP.
When Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is using all his strategies to defeat the former minister by appointing in-charges to various mandals of Huzurabad constituency from his team of ministers, MLAs and party leaders, a flexi put up by Kodimyala mandal parishad president M. Swarnalatha and her husband Raja Narasingha Rao, had photograph of Rajendar prominently placed among other top TRS leaders.
The flexi was installed at the mandal headquarters in Kodimyala of Jagtial district on Saturday on the occasion of National Handloom Day.
Rajendar’s photo printed along with images of Chandrashekar Rao and other important leaders including ministers K.T. Rama Rao and Koppula Eshwar, state planning commission vice-chairman, B. Vinod Kumar and libraries department chairman Anugu Ravinder Reddy went viral on various social media platforms here in erstwhile Karimnagar district.
After coming to know that the photo went viral, Swarna Latha, who realised her mistake, immediately removed the flexi and tried to delete the social media post but in vain.
