Second leg of Narendra Modi campaign from today in Kerala

Mr Modi will fly back to the national capital late on Sunday night.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in the State on Sunday on his second leg of campaigning. He will be addressing four public rallies including one in Kanyakumari at 3:45 pm. He will kick off his day at Kasaragod 9:30 am followed by rallies in Kuttanad 12.45 pm and the last one at Thiruvananthapuram at 6:40 pm.

NDA candidates in Kannur and Kasaragod districts would be attending the Modi rally at Vidya Nagar Government College ground at Kasaragod. BJP State and central leaderships are banging on Manjeshwaram seat where BJP general secretary K. Surendran is the candidate.

In Kuttanad, where Bharat Dharma Jana Sena candidate Subhash Vasu is a formidable candidate of NDA, the venue at Edathua Lourdes Matha School ground is getting ready to receive him. All the NDA candidates in Alappuzha district would be attending.

From Kuttanad, he will be flying to Kanyakumari where he is expected to participate in a public rally at 4:50 pm and by 6:40 pm, he will be returning to the state capital to address the public rally at Central Stadium for the NDA candidates in the district. Union ministers J. P. Nadda and Rajiv Pratap Rudy will also be attending all the three rallies in the State.

Mr Modi will fly back to the national capital late on Sunday night. He is scheduled to arrive in Ernakulam again on May 11 on his final leg and third stretch of the campaigning in the State. On May 11, he will attend a public rally at Thrippunithura at 6:30 pm.

He is expected to arrive in Thrippunithura after attending another public rally at Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu. He is also expected to visit Rajeshwari, the mother of Perumbavoor rape victim at the hospital after the show of strength at Thrippunithura late Wednesday evening.
