Thiruvananthapuram: There is an unholy nexus between the BJP and the Congress, said CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. "It is a backdoor understanding between them and the Congress will help the BJP to open an account in the state. This secret understanding has been evolved to reinstate Oommen Chandy into the power," he said.
Mr. Kodiyeri was addressing and election convention of G. Sudhakaran, LDF candidate at Ambalappuzha, here on Thursday. In some seats, the UDF would l help the BJP and BJP would support UDF in some others, he alleged.
He also said that the candidature of K. Sudhakaran in Uduma, was to corner RSS votes. Mr. Chandy had made the state a land of scams, Mr. Kodiyeri alleged. "The solar energy, which was an effective alternative to tackle power crisis, has become a synonym for corruption," he added.
