Vijayawada: Calling Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu the demon “Narasura”, YSRC on Tuesday said Andhra Pradesh would witness real Diwali only when the demon “Narasura” was decimated in the 2019 elections as Naidu had stooped rock bottom.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, senior leader Anam Ramanarayana Reddy said, “Chandrababu Naidu has been a dwarf on the national scene as the bi-polar polity of the nation has seen the emergence of NDA and UPA. It is only to divert the trouble back home after the attack on Leader of the Opposition Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, did he eagerly plead to rub shoulders with the Congress president and not to float a Front as claimed by his friendly media.”
The shift from NDA to UPA was the political compulsion of Mr Naidu who, along with his cabinet colleagues and law enforcing wing working under them, was responsible for diluting the probe into the attack on the YSRC chief at Vizag airport, he said.
“The AP government attempted to side-track the Vizag attack case by talking about frivolous issues of little or no consequence within hours of the incident, despite the fact that the top brass of police and bureaucracy were camping in Amravati,” he said.
“The DGP aired his views openly which was picked up by the Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues all of which were aimed at painting the incident as a minor issue without bringing in the provision of 120 (b) to probe the conspiracy angle,” he said. and going in to the details of who had conspired and engineered the attack," he said.
When a minor thing such as a post on social media was taken very seriously by the TD government, how is it that the Operation Garuda theory and its propagator, Shivaji were left unquestioned as he had openly put on public domain his views that there would be an attack on a top politician? Or was Operation Garuda too part of a larger conspiracy was a point that needed to be answered, he said.
The economy of the state has been in shambles as the Naidu government increased the quantum of loans by adding Rs 1.5 lakh crores and it has only benefitted the TD leadership and its coterie that got exorbitant rates for contracts. Nothing was spent on welfare measures or for the benefit of people, he added.
