Hyderabad: The second phase of Parliament Budget session will begin on March 5. It will not only witness proceedings to be frequently interrupted by MPs from Andhra Pradesh’s TD and YSRC but the TRS too as they are planning to join the stir both inside and outside Parliament on the issues concerning Telangana.

TRS MPs too will stage protests, demonstrations and cause obstruction to proceedings in both the Houses, according to TRS Lok Sabha leader A.P. Jitender Reddy.

He said that their agitation will include serving adjournment mot-ions and seeking special discussion on injustices done to Telangana.

"In today’s Parliamentary Party meeting held by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, it was decided to launch a stir on all our demands. We will not allow Houses to function until our demands are met," Jitender Reddy said.

"On three important issues like providing 12 per cent reservation to backward Muslims in the state on which the Bill is pending with the Central Government, clubbing MNREGS programme with agriculture and non-releasing of special assistance measures such as industrial incentives to Telangana, as promised in the Bifurcation Act, will be more focussed by TRS MPs. If needed , we will protest at the Gandhi statue outside Parliament and take up all issues inside the House till the Central Government gives us a positive response," Jitender Reddy said.
