Rajahmundry: 24-year-old endures 100 bikes run over his stomach

A Karate player, he had bagged several gold medals in the past.

Rajahmundry: A 24-year-old B.Tech graduate, Komma Ujwal, undertook an adventurous feat to get into the Guinness Book of World Records on Sunday at Pushkara Ghat here. He endured the run of a hundred Royal Enfield bullet bikes over his stomach.

A Karate player, he had bagged several gold medals in the past. His father K. Srinivas is a Corporator for the 21st division of the municipality.

Ujwal said 10 bikes running over his stomach was itself a record and he could endure run of 10 Royal Enfield bikes, each of it 10 rounds, making it a total of 100 times, and this was a major feat. Sources said two doctors were at hand in case help was needed, besides a throng of spectators.

His father Komma Srin-ivas said Ujwal was showing interest in Karate and its allied sports from his childhood. Efforts were being made for getting different medals, awards, etc, and create records through his performance.

Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai flagged off the show while MLC Adireddy Appa Rao and TD leader Ganni Krishna were among those present.
