Camlin school: Providing quality education for 35 years

Camlin school has also been awarded as one among the 20 prestigious schools in Bengaluru by the Commissioner of Public Instructions.

Bengaluru: Camlin English School at Hampinagar, (R.P.C Layout), Vijayanagar II stage has been providing quality education and won a number of awards and honours in its 35 years of existence.

Founded by T.B.G. Aradhya, a noted educationist, in 1982-83, the school is recognized by the state government and is a co-educational institution, with two sections for each class. The performance of the students in the SSLC examination over the last decade, with numerous students scoring more than 90 per cent marks, stands testimony to the quality education provided by the school.

In the recent SSLC examination, Bhavana B. Rao secured 99.20 per cent and upset the school record of 98.72 per cent set by Harshitha M. in the previous year.

Camlin school has also been awarded as one among the 20 prestigious schools in Bengaluru by the Commissioner of Public Instructions.

Karnataka State Headmaster’s Association and Rotary Club has identified the school as one of the best in Bengaluru. The school has also been presented with the “International Udhyog Excellence Award” by the International Institute of Educational Management, New Delhi. The school Headmistress, H.P. Vijaya, was awarded for excellent results in the SSLC board examination in 2016.

Apart from academics, the students have also excelled in various extra-curricular activities. Its students have taken part in popular radio and television shows and won many prizes. Master Kishan, who has the distinction of being the world's youngest film director, is one of the old students of this school. Another student Meghana P is a promising artiste. According to founder Secretary Aradhya the motto of the school is scaling new heights in the field of education and technology.
