Kerala: Floods subside, railways resumes Northeast Frontier Railway

Special trains from Kochuveli, Ernakulam to Hyderabad, Yesvantpur respectively.

Kochi: With the flood-like conditions subsiding, the rail traffic has resumed over the Northeast Frontier Railway. The following train services that remained cancelled will be restored as below:- (Train No 12507) Thiruvananthapuram – Guwahati (via Chennai Central) express scheduled to leave Thiruvanan-thapuram with effect from September 26. (Train No 12515) Thiruvananthapuram – Guwahati (via Chennai Central) express, scheduled to leave Thiruvanant-hapuram with effect from October one. (Train No 12516) Guwahati – Thiruvanan-thapuram express, scheduled to leave Guwahati with effect from September 27.

(Train No 12508) Guwahati – Thiruvanan-thapuram express, scheduled to leave Guwahati with effect from September 29. The railways informed that the special fare train (Train No 06516) Howrah-Thiruvananthapuram announced earlier is cancelled on September 28. Meanwhile, the railways announced a special fare train to operate in the Hyderabad-Kochiveli section. (Train No 07115) Hyderabad - Kochuveli Special Fare will leave Hyderabad at 9 pm on all Saturdays from October 7 to 28 to reach Kochuveli at 03.20 am the following Mondays.

(Train No 07116) Kochuveli – Hyderabad Special Fare will leave Kochuveli at 8.15 pm on all Mondays from October 9 to October 30 to arrive at Hyderabad at 3.30 am the following Wednesdays(4 services). A pair of Tatkal Special train services will operate between Yesvantpur and Ernakulam too. (Train No 06547) Yesvantpur - Ernakulam Jn Special Train will leave Yesvantpur at 10.45 pm on all Tuesdays from October 3 to December 26 to arrive at Ernakulam by 10.30 am the following Wednesdays. (Train No 06548) Ernakulam – Yesvantpur Special Train will leave Ernakulam Jn at 2.45 pm on all Wednesdays from October 4 to December 12 to reach Yesvantpur at 4.30 am the following Thursdays.
