Thiruvananthapuram: In order to dispose off the backlog of pending building permit applications, the City Corporation will hold a special adalat on January 30. “Several files which have been pending for over a month are piling up in the Corporation. Apart from this, are pleas on which decisions have been deferred due to various reasons. We will dispose them off in the adalat,” Mayor VK Prasanth said in a statement.
The application for adalats can be filed at the zonal office as well as in the front office of the Corporation. There is no special application form for this. All details of the complaint regarding a file should be enclosed in the plea. The deadline for submitting applications for adalats is 5pm on January 25.
