Vijayawada: The Chief Minister would present the awards to the social media users for posting best selfies, groupies and best videos which promote Pushkaralu and religious tourism of the Krishna River.
Meanwhile, the pilgrims have been posting the selfies, groupies and videos of the Krishna Pushkarlu on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and others.
They have been using the hash tags including #KrishnaPushkaralu, #KrishnaPushkaralu2016#KrishnaRiver and others to reach maximum people. More than 87,000 netizens have posted on #KrishnaPushkaralu on Facebook alone.
There had been a good response from the netizens over the Pushkaralu on social media, observed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, in a teleconference with the officials on Sunday, in Vijayawada.
Mr Naidu added that apart from the individuals and pilgrims, the government also uploaded more than 150 videos on the Facebook and Youtube.
The netizens have been responding tremendously for these videos and photos posted by the government departments. The viewership, tweets, retweets were also on high in number, he added.
Mr Niadu would likely to present the awards for the selected netizens based on their best promoted photos, videos, selfies and groupies, on August 24, after completion of Pushkaralu.
Mr Naidu, recently confirmed that the government would present the smart phones to the best netizens.
