Kochi: The Aam Aadmi Party has urged the state government to order a comprehensive probe into the Rs 5.6-cr scam involving top leaders of BJP for getting permission for setting up a medical college. In a statement on Thursday AAP state convener CR Neelakandan said the matter cannot be considered as an internal issue of BJP.
The incident has also exposed the claim of BJP as a party without corruption, he said. The BJP leadership should not be allowed to escape by claiming that the party has conducted an internal probe in the matter, he added. The Pinarayi Government should show the political sagacity to order a transparent probe into the incident.
