DYFI national meet to follow green protocol

More than 700 delegates from 24 states will attend the meeting.

KOCHI: The 10th national conference of DYFI (Democratic Youth Federation of India) will be held in Kochi from February 1 to 5. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, DYFI national president M.B Rajesh and national general secretary Abhoy Mukherjee said that the conference will be organised complying the green protocol.

"Seminars, cultural and sports events, medical camps are being organised in connection with the national meeting. As part of the social intervention initiatives, 13 houses were constructed for the poor. The keys will be handed over before the conference begins. Education of 92 students from very poor financial background, who were identified during a survey, will be undertaken by the party," said the DYFI leader. The delegates' session on February 2 at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium will be inaugurated by retired Supreme Court judge Justice Gopal Gowda. More than 700 delegates from 24 states will attend the meeting. A public rally will be organised on February 5 as aprt of the event.
