Hyderabad: Two Rachakonda Commissionerate staff who were arrested a week ago on charges of forgery and cheating were suspended on Thursday.
Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Bhagawat issued orders suspending Ale Ashok, a senior assistant, and Sundara Raju, senior assistant.
An inquiry is underway to check the role of Anil Kumar, Vasanth Kumar and Manmeet, the other accused. The gang forged the signatures of senior officials for the no-objection certificate issued to Leo Security Force and Al-lied Services and Angel Covering Security Force.
Police said that while verifying the previous files pertaining to the NOCs issued to security agencies, they found that some staffers had forged the signatures of senior officials. It came to light when the Intelligence Security Wing returned few files regarding grant of licence.
