The motto of the meet was to form an impactful conversation with Dr. Shashi Tharoor. Entrepreneur Dr. Renuka David was the moderator and her company was the event sponsor. The FICCI, FLO Chennai conducted a talk session with Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament - Lok Sabha on the topic ‘An inquisitive mind?’
Dr. Shashi Tharoor’s thought provoking session had a delightful eclectic mix of a barrage of issues ranging from India’s globalisation, the cultural changes, his days in the UN, balancing writing and politics as well as his supremely admirable command over the English language.
The session kickstarted with FICCI FLO’s chairperson Anupama Shivaraman welcoming Dr. Tharoor with over 200 members from the Chennai Chapter present for the well-attended session. Commenting on the occasion, she added “FICCO FLO Chennai Chapter has been curating events on a diverse range of subjects from Media, Business, Literature and Politics and has been instrumental in creating special value addition through facilitating deliberations over a wide range of issues with a more broad and an expert based take on subjects of
importance.”
