Chennai: Three officers from Tamil Nadu have been selected for the President’s police medal for distinguished service and 22 police personnel have been picked for the President’s medal for meritorious service, a press release from the TN police headquarters said. In addition, as many as 14 police officers have been selected to receive the Tamil Nadu chief minister’s medal for excellence in investigation and selfless public service.
Officers selected for the President’s medal for distinguished services are K.C. Mahali, ADGP, welfare; S. Arunachalam, ACP, Chennai and G.Sankar, SP (retired) special division.
