HYDERABAD: Over 500 former defence forces personnel attended Veterans Day 2023 that was celebrated at Mukhtiyar Hall, Secunderabad, under the aegies of the Telangana and Andhra sub area (TASA) headquarters on Saturday.
The focus of the event was to update the veterans on Sparsh, the comprehensive pension programme for defence personnel, the latest Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) policies and welfare measures sponsored by the government and the Army headquarters and the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).
Brig K. Somashankar, officiating General Officer Commandng, TASA, Air Chief Marshal N.A.K. Browne (Retd), Lt Gen. Hari Prasad (Retd) addressed the veterans and conveyed their greetings and best wishes.
