Hyderabad: Most pilgrims do not use the recommendation letter in a proper way for special darshanans. Mr. G. Pavan Kumar from Santhoshnagar said that a lot of devotees make the mistake in using the recommendations letters given by IPS and IAS officials and state ministers. “They should submit the recommendation letter at the police control room along with the parking token to obtain a new token for parking at Pampa and the hilltop,” he said.
For special darshan, he said, “They should send a copy to the executive officer of Sannidanam at 04735-202028 before visiting the shrine and they should not stand in the queue at the 18-holy steps. Besides, by taking the special puja ticket for '300 and '500, pilgrims can have a VIP darshan.”
Meanwhile, the Kerala government has arranged dormitories and open places for devotees at Sabari Hill. S. Kishore, a regular visitor to Sabarimala, said, “From Sannidanam to Sriramapadam, the government has developed open areas and a few places have sheds. A few Telugu samajams are offering dormitory facility for devotees.”
