Hyderabad: A major fire broke out at a workshop in Autonagar in Vanasthalipuram on Saturday and two trucks were damaged. Another fire occurred at an ink manufacturing unit at Mallapur. No casualties were reported in both the incidents.
Fire officials said a fire broke out at the Sri Radhakrishna Lorry Body Building Works located behind the deer park in Vanasthalipuram. Two days ago three 10 wheel trucks came to the workshop for body building. On Saturday morning while workers were at work suddenly fire broke out and the scrap and spilled oils caught fire. The fire soon spread to all the three trucks.
“27 tyres of three trucks were completely burnt but the chassis and the engine were not affected,”said fire officials, adding that approximately property worth Rs 6 lakh was damaged in the incident.
In another incident, fire broke out at the Sri Sai Jyothi Printers in Mallapur, which manufactures inks used for plastic printing.
