THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a major shake-up of IPS officers, R. Sreelekha has been posted as ADGP Intelligence, Sudhesh Kumar ADGP north zone and Rishiraj Singh excise commissioner. Nithin Agarwal, who was serving as ADGP north zone, was posted as ADGP armed police battalions. Anilkanth was posted as ADGP (prisons) in place of Rishiraj Singh, who replaces IAS officer Anil Xavier as excise commissioner. K. Padmakumar, who was recently shifted from the post of ADGP south zone, was posted as chief vigilance officer in Kerala State Electricity Board.
The government is also learnt to have decided to post A. Hemachandran, who was serving as DGP Intelligence, as Fire and Rescue Services commandant general; Shanker Reddy, who was recently shifted from vigilance director post, as State Crime Records Bureau DGP in place of R. Sreelekha and Rajesh Dewan as ADGP headquarters.
S. Sreejith was posted as Ernakulam-range IG, shifting Mahipal Yadav as IG-training. Sureshraj Purohit was posted as IG headquarters and T.J. Jose as IG protection of civil rights. IG E.J. Jayaran was posted as IG in Kerala State Human Rights Commission. DIG intelligence P. Vijayan was posted as DIG Training. Kollam city police commissioner P. Prakhash was replaced with Satish Bino. J. Himedranath was posted as the new Thrissur city police commissioner.
In a shuffle in district police chiefs, Sanjay Kumar was posted at Kannur, A. Akbar at Alappuzha, A.V. George at Idukki, Debesh Kumar Behera at Malappuram, R. Nishanthinin at Thrissur-rural, N. Ramachandra at Kottayam, N. Vijayakumar at Kozhikode-rural, Thomson Jose at Kasargod, A. Srinivas at Palakkad, K. Karthik at Wayanad and Harishankar at Pathanamthitta.
