59-year-old freelancer tops PG course selection examination in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Mr Prakash Phadnis, a 59-year-old freelancer, has secured admission into the Osmania University’s PG course in theatre arts. He topped the qualifying exam held recently.

Mr Phadnis, a native of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, who settled in Hyderabad in 2000, is a former script coordinator with a well known Marathi TV channel. Mr Phadnis says he has directed and acated in plays in Hyderabad and other cities, participated in competitions and conducted workshops. In Hyderabad, Mr Phadnis says he is associated with theatre group Rangadhara.
