YSRC calls for Andhra Pradesh bandh on August 2

Koyya Prasada Reddy requested people from all walks of life to support the state-wide bandh.

Visakhapatnam: YSRC leader Koyya Prasada Reddy requested people from all walks of life to support the state-wide bandh call given by the YSRC on August 2. Speaking to the media here in the party office, Mr Reddy asked the people to revolt against the leaders who go back on their promises, including the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

BJP flatly rejecting the special status is a blatant violation of democracy, he said. Even after the Union government refusing the special category status, Mr Chandrababu Naidu still sailing with the NDA shows his opportunism. He mortgaged the interests of five crore Telugu people in Delhi for personal gains. Both BJP and Telugu Desam have to pay a heavy price in the coming elections, the YSRC leader added.
