Shilpali stands by her word, denies self harm by hubby Vikram Goud

Shilpali appealed to the media not to spread false news. She said that she has complete faith in the police.

Hyderabad: Vikram Goud’s wife Shilpali stood by her earlier statement that her husband was attacked. Talking to the media on Saturday, she appealed to the media not to spread false news about the incident.

She said that she has complete faith in the Hyderabad police and the case would be cracked soon.

Shipali added that they had given their statements to investigating officials and hoped the culprits would be nabbed. “There is no truth in the reports that Vikram shot himself. We have given all details to the police and they will crack the case soon,” Shilpali said.

While describing the incident Shipali did not clearly state whether she saw anybody fleeing from the house. She described the incident thus: “I and my husband had decided to conduct an Annadanam at the Hakim Baba dargah near my house for poor people. We got up early at around 2.30 am for this purpose and were getting ready to go to the dargah. After he got ready he went down to the hall and asked me to come down. While I was getting ready in the room I heard a loud noise twice. I also heard my husband crying for help calling my name. I soon ran down to see what happened and saw him bleeding. I called 108 ambulance service for help. But there was no response from them. So I personally took him to hospital in our vehicle.”
