K Chandrasekhar Rao regularises services of 20,903 workers

He approved the regularisation of services of 20,903 outsourcing employees working in four power utilities.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday approved the regularisation of services of 20,903 outsourcing employees working in four power utilities. These include 4,197 in Trancso, 2,914 in Genco, 4,333 in the northern discom and 9,459 in the southern discom. The councils of the power utilities had made recommendation to the government in this regard.

Power minister G.Jag-adish Reddy, Genco and Transco chairman and managing director D. Prabhakar Rao, chief secretary S.P. Singh, special chief secretary (power) Ajay Mishra, principal secretary (finance) K. Ramakrishna Rao and law secretary Niranjan Rao discussed the matter before making the recommendations. CM Chandrasekhar Rao expressed happiness over the outsourcing employees, who were working with meagre salaries all these years, getting their services regularised. Mr Prabh-akar Rao thanked the CM on behalf of the outsourcing employees.
