Eamcet-2 paper leak: CID test' 4 students from Adilabad district

One of these students had secured nearly 26,000-rank in the previous tests but got a rank below 1,000 in Eamcet-2.

Adilabad: CID personnel investigating the Eamcet-2 question paper leakage have questioned four students in Adilabad district who had secured top ranks after performing poorly in Eamcet1, and the test held in Andhra Pradesh.

It is learnt that the CID team, led by sub-inspector Naresh Kumar, asked some questions to test the knowledge of the four. One of these students had secured nearly 26,000-rank in the previous tests but got a rank below 1,000 in Eamcet-2.

The CID officials inspected the house of a student who got the leaked question paper Kagaznagar on Thursday; the family locked the house and left town on Friday.

The CID has reportedly identified four students each from Kagaznagar, Asifabad, Gudihatnoor and Mancherial towns who benefited from the leaked question paper. A few of them are even related to each other.

It was stated that a student from Kagaznagar had gone to Hyderabad three days before the exam and was trained to answer the question paper while staying in a room in an unidentified area. A family had also reportedly paid a whopping Rs 10 lakh as advance as part of a larger Rs 50-lakh deal.
