Bengaluru: Lashing out at the Sangh Parivar and the BJP for labelling dissenting voices as anti-national, former JNU Students' Union (JNUSU) vice-president Shehla Rashid said that the organisation that propagates terrorism and the party that shields terrorists should not lecture on nationalism and patriotism.
She said, “RSS is a terrorist organisation which carried out the first political assassination in the country. It was RSS who killed Gandhi and now Gauri. The murders of Narendra Dabolkar, Govind Pansare, M.M. Kalburgi and Gauri Lankesh are planned by Sananthan Sanstha and the killers are moving around freely. Even the Karni Sena chief who issued anti-national remark has not been booked.”
She said that the RSS is involved in Malegaon, Ajmer, Mecca Masjid and Samjhauta Express blasts and the ground operative, Sunil Joshi, even sought the help of Yogi Adityanath, now the UP chief minister, to carry out the blasts. Being an MP of Gorakhpur, Yogi did not reveal Joshi’s terror plans to the police. “I need not learn nationalism and patriotism from these people,” she said.
